Maps by Helen L. Foster and Harold G. May, 1957

These maps, produced in Tokyo after a two-year geological survey of Ishigaki Island, precisely depict its Ryukyu limestone formations and volcanic features, fossils and soils, with field assistance from Setsuko Yamazato.
